Marcus Letzel is currently the Department Head of Site Analytics & Meteorology at Enercon, where they have held various leadership roles focused on site simulation and meteorological analysis. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Scientist and Consultant at Lohmeyer Consulting Engineers from 2010 to 2014. Marcus completed a PhD in Meteorology and a German Diploma at Leibniz Universität Hannover, and they also contributed as a Visiting Scientist at the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2001-2002. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Scientist/PostDoc at Leibniz Universität Hannover, further advancing their expertise in the field. Marcus is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Weather, Climate & Modelling at The University of Reading.
