Peter Spence

Peter Spence, P.Eng., MBA, PMP, currently serves as Manager of Enterprise Strategy at Enerflex Ltd. since January 2023. Previously, at Pembina Pipeline Corporation, Peter held positions as Senior Advisor for Continuous Improvement and Specialist in Operational Excellence, where significant achievements included generating over $25 million annually in blending profit and reducing outage costs by $2 million per year. Prior experience includes a managerial role at Partners in Performance, achieving a 45% increase in construction productivity at a major mining expansion and boosting profits by over $50 million at a coal plant. Earlier in his career, Peter worked as a drilling engineer and wellsite supervisor at Nexen, where Peter managed complex oil sands drilling projects, leading to improved operational efficiency and significant cost savings. Peter holds an MBA from Ivey Business School and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary.
