Rick Prechel has extensive experience in the refrigeration and gas industries, currently serving as a Process Commissioning Tech at Enerflex Ltd. since November 2014, where responsibilities include commissioning new process units and coordinating with engineering teams. Prior to this role, Rick worked at Gas Drive from 2005 to November 2014, specializing in the startup and commissioning of propane refrigeration and dew point units. Earlier positions included Refrigeration Technician at STARTEC Refrigeration and Toromont Energy Systems, where responsibilities encompassed the startup and servicing of refrigeration packages and gas compression units. Rick obtained a degree in Refrigeration Technology and Journeyman Red Seal from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) between 1985 and 1987.
