Young Kwon

Young Kwon has a wealth of work experience, having worked in the information security and privacy field since 2005. Theircareer began at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Senior Security Engineer, followed by a Security Engineer II role at Yellowbook in 2010. In 2013, they moved to Chubb as a Security Engineer, then to Health Partners Plans in 2014 in the same role. In 2016, Young Kwon joined Vertex Inc. as a Vulnerability Assessment Manager. In 2017, they joined Qualys as a Technical Account Manager, and in 2019 they moved to Unisys as a Security Solutions Manager. Most recently, in 2021, Young Kwon became the Director of Information Security & Privacy at Energage.

Young Kwon is currently pursuing an Information Security degree from Western Governors University. Young has obtained numerous certifications and qualifications, including a Core Impact Certified Professional from Core Security Inc. in November 2014, a Qualys Guard Certified Specialist from Qualys in January 2014, a GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) from GIAC in April 2012, a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist from Microsoft in July 2011, a CISSP from (ISC)² in November 2010, a Security+ from CompTIA in June 2010, a Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council in April 2010, a Certified AirDefense Engineer from AirDefense in July 2009, an ITIL-v2F from INFORMATION SYSTEMS EXAMINATIONS BOARD LIMITED in July 2008, a CCSP from Cisco in March 2005, and a Project+ from CompTIA in March 2014.
