Samuel McLaughlin P.E.

Samuel McLaughlin, P.E., PMP, is currently a Subject Matter Expert for Energetics, Inc., focusing on the decarbonization of the truck and freight industry. With over three decades of engineering experience, Samuel has successfully led public funding partnerships aimed at enhancing vehicle energy efficiency, achieving more than $500 million in project support over the past five years. Previously, Samuel held positions such as Sr. Design Engineer at The Manitowoc Company and External Research Manager for the North American Region at Volvo Group Trucks Technology. Samuel earned a Renewable Energy Certificate from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2017, and a Master’s degree in engineering from Penn State University in 1983. A dedicated member of the Society of Automotive Engineers for 33 years, Samuel continues to contribute to sustainable energy solutions.
