Valero Energy Inc. owns and operates the Jean Gaulin refinery in Lévis, with a refining capacity of approximately 235,000 barrels per day, as well as several logistics infrastructures including the Montreal East terminal and the Saint Laurent Pipeline. About 70% of the petroleum products used in Quebec is manufactured and distributed by Valero, which guarantees the energy security of the region in terms of transportation. Through its activities, it supports more than 3,400 jobs and feeds an ecosystem of 1,200 suppliers. Valero Energy Inc. is exclusively owned by Valero Energy Corporation.
