Jeff Yi

Jeff Yi has over 20 years of experience in the field of RFIC layout engineering. Jeff started their career at BethelTronix Inc. in 1999, where they provided full custom layout support for various projects, including GPS and dual-band handsets. In 2002, they joined OrionMicroelectronics and worked on projects involving UWB and dual band WLAN. Jeff then moved on to Song-Power Communication (Mediatek) in 2005, where they worked on Set Top Boxes, TV Tuners, RFID, and Cellular Communication. In 2012, Jeff joined Broadcom as a Senior Layout Engineer and provided support for RF and high-speed mixed signal analog IC design layout. Jeff gained extensive experience with EDA tools and various processes. Currently, they are working at Energous Corporation as a Principal/Lead RFIC Layout Engineer, leading layout projects for CMOS RF Power Transmitters, Power Amplifiers, Power Receivers, and SiP modules. Jeff specializes in top-level floorplanning and SKILL code generation.

Jeff Yi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information System from DeVry University in 1999.
