Annie Orbison

Annie Orbison has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Annie currently works at Energy Management Collaborative (EMC) as a Project Coordinator, starting in October 2022. Before that, they were a Secretary Board of Directors at Rescue Network, Inc. from August 2019. Annie also has experience as a Special Education Teacher at Minneapolis Public Schools from August 2020 to April 2022 and at Robbinsdale Area Schools from August 2016 to September 2019. Annie has a background in working with children as well, having worked at Southdale YMCA as Kid's Stuff Staff and Youth Development Staff from December 2013 to September 2019. Annie also worked at Camp Kici Yapi as a Camp Counselor from June 2006 to September 2010. In addition, Annie has experience as a Student Teacher at Lake Nokomis Community Schools- Keewaydin Campus, where they taught students with learning disabilities, emotional/behavior disorders, and autism.

Annie Orbison attended Augsburg University from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education and Teaching. Prior to attending Augsburg University, Annie transferred from Luther College, where they pursued Elementary Education and Teaching from 2008 to 2010. Furthermore, Annie completed a Master's degree in Teaching and Learning at Saint Mary's University Minnesota, although the specific years of their enrollment are unknown.
