Jiawei Bu, PE, CEM, CCASS, LEED AP OM, is an experienced Engineering Manager at Energy Sciences since June 2021, leading an engineering team focused on industrial and commercial energy efficiency and retro-commissioning. Prior to this role, Jiawei served as Senior Energy Engineer at Energy Sciences, enhancing leadership in the DTE RCx program and overseeing industrial projects while providing technical support and training. Previously, Jiawei worked as an Energy Engineer at American Axle & Manufacturing, supervising energy usage across over 60 global manufacturing facilities and achieving ISO 50001 certification for more than 30 sites. Jiawei's early career includes conducting industrial energy assessments at the University of Dayton's Industrial Assessment Center. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton and a Bachelor of Science in Energy and Power Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University.
