Ryan Baxter

Ryan J. S. Baxter is a seasoned professional in the fields of carbon strategy and PropTech, currently serving as a Carbon Strategist and PropTech Advisor at a prominent company since August 2021. Baxter co-founded the PropTech Challenge in November 2017 and has been a Strategic Advisor at Stak since February 2022. Additional roles include serving as an Advisor for Thalo Labs since January 2023 and as the NYC Community Growth Lead at MetaProp NYC since September 2018. As the Founder and Chairman of PASSNYC since 2015, Baxter has also contributed to NYSERDA's PropTech initiatives focused on energy efficiency and decarbonization until November 2022. Previous experiences include advising Gooroo and Young Eisner Scholars, alongside a background in real estate liaison at MetaProp NYC. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from Macaulay Honors College, CUNY at Hunter College, and Hunter College High School.
