Bobby Cates

Bobby Cates has a diverse work experience history. Bobby started their career as a Youth Minister at First Baptist Church of El Reno, OK in June 2005 and served in this role until December 2007. From January 2008 to August 2017, Bobby worked as a Pastor at First Baptist Church of Slidell, Texas. In September 2011, they joined ENERGY worldnet, Inc. as a Voiceover Talent. In July 2016, Bobby founded and served as a Teacher for Repenting Rebel Ministries. Lastly, since September 2017, they have been the Lead Pastor at First Baptist Church of Argyle.

Bobby Cates holds a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree in the field of study of Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, which they obtained from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2002, they attended the University of North Texas where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication Studies, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Journalism - Broadcast News.
