David M.

David M. has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the energy industry. David started their career at Home Oil Company Limited in 1993 as a Corporate Secretary. David then moved on to Gulf Canada Resources Ltd. in 1995 as a Senior Solicitor, focusing on acquisitions and international operations. In 1998, they joined Westcoast Energy Ltd. as the Alberta Managing Counsel. David then transitioned to Conoco Canada Ltd. in 2000 as the Vice President, General Counsel & Government Relations. In 2001, they worked as a Consultant - International for Encana Corporation, specializing in the Gulf of Mexico and South America. Currently, David M. holds the position of Vice President, Corporate Services, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Enerplus Corporation, a role they have had since 2002.

David M. completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree (B.Com.) with distinction at the University of Alberta from 1979 to 1983. David then pursued their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) with distinction at the same university from 1983 to 1986.
