Bert Baeck

Bert Baeck is a prominent entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in technology and data-driven enterprises. As the CEO and Co-Founder of Timeseer.AI since October 2020, Bert also serves as an Entrepreneur In Residence and Partner at SmartFin, a firm managing €750 million in assets. Bert is a Co-Founder and Investor at Hyperfox and has taken on advisory roles at Enersee since January 2023. With a significant presence on various boards, Bert holds positions at VersaSense, Locatee by Tango, Roamler, and THEO Technologies—acquired by Dolby in 2024. Bert's academic background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from Ghent University and experience at HOGENT and Vlerick Business School. Bert is currently a Visiting Professor of AI & Data Quality at KU Leuven for the 2023-2024 academic year.
