Bert Schenk

Bert Schenk is a dynamic and results-driven industry professional with over 22 years of experience in sales and marketing within B2B and B2C environments, primarily in the EMEA region. Currently serving as Sales Director for Defence Land-Systems at EnerSys since 1995, Bert also holds the position of Commercial Manager for Aerospace & Defence Land-Systems. Prior to this, experience includes roles as Commercial Manager at Pon Power Oil and Gas b.v. and as Manager of Electrical Maintenance & Service. Bert's early career began in the Royal Dutch Navy, where skills were developed as Petty Officer First Class and Senior Electrical Noncommissioned Officer. Bert possesses a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Royal Dutch Navy Academy, with extensive training in energy technology, electrics, electronics, power electronics, IT technology, and mechanical engineering.
