Brian Venus has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Brian started their career as a Co-op Student at NASA Langley Research Center in 2003 and worked there until 2007. Brian then joined Converteam Naval Systems as an R&D Engineer from 2008 to 2011, where they developed drive cabinet schematics and led naval proposal efforts. Next, Brian worked at GE Energy as a Lead Engineer / Technologist from 2011 to 2014. Currently, they are employed at EnerSys, where they have held various roles. Brian started as a Sr. Electronics Engineer from 2014 to 2016, then became a System Engineering Manager from 2016 to 2020. Currently, Brian holds the position of Director of Systems Engineering at EnerSys.
Brian Venus earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh between 2001 and 2006. Brian later pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution, completing it between 2006 and 2008. Recently, Brian Venus enrolled in the Penn State Smeal MBA Program to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, expected to be completed between 2021 and 2023.
