Dan Schmidt

Dan Schmidt, MBA, is a seasoned professional in the battery industry with over 20 years of experience in product engineering and development. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Product Engineering at EnerSys since October 2011, Dan manages international electrochemical and physical designs for various battery applications and leads global engineering teams in developing and launching new products. Previously, Dan held positions at C&D Technologies and East Penn Manufacturing, focusing on process development and project management for new battery technologies. Dan's educational background includes a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Central Missouri and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Saint Francis University. In addition to professional pursuits, Dan has extensive experience in coaching soccer at various levels, including head coaching roles at Alvernia University and Central Catholic High School.
