Lead Electrical Engineer at EnerSys

Daniel Soltesz has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Daniel started their career as an Engineer Intern at X-FAB, where they performed arc flash evaluations and designed power systems. Daniel then worked at Lubbock Audio Visual in a role focused on rentals and staging.

Afterwards, Daniel joined Texas Instruments and participated in their new college graduate rotation program. Daniel first served as a Test Engineer, developing test hardware and software for DC-DC converters. Daniel then transitioned to a Product Engineer role, where they qualified devices and analyzed data for production testing. Daniel later returned to test engineering, focusing on analog power and working on the DC-DC converter product line.

Most recently, Daniel worked at Micron Technology as an NVE SSD Product Engineer. In this role, they developed manufacturing tests for cutting-edge PCIe and NVMe features, worked on different PCBs and DIBs, and ensured full coverage of different form factors.

Currently, Daniel holds the position of Lead Electrical Engineer at EnerSys, starting in 2023.

Daniel Soltesz earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Texas Tech University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Following their undergraduate studies, they obtained additional certifications in various fields. In June 2017, they completed the "Bridge to Test" certification at Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES). In March 2017, they obtained the "ETS-364/600 Programming" certification from Teradyne. Lastly, in February 2017, they received the "Semiconductor Processing Overview" certification from the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service.
