Jud W.

Jud W. is the President and CEO of EnerVest, Ltd. They previously led multiple functions at EnerVest, Ltd from 2012 to 2016, serving as Functional Lead - Geology, SVP & GM - Permian, EVP & COO, and Chief Geoscience Advisor and Director of New Ventures. Prior to EnerVest, they worked as a Geologist at Chesapeake Energy from 2004 to 2009, drilling over 300 wells in the Permian Basin and developing Woodford, Barnett and Bone Spring projects in the Delaware Basin. They earned a B.S. in Geology/Earth Science from Texas Christian University (1997–2001) and an M.S. in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from The University of Texas at Austin (2002–2004).
