Leonardo Morais possesses extensive experience in the energy sector, currently holding a position in the Commercial department at Eneva since March 2022 and serving as Superintendent at Focus Energia since November 2020. Previously, Leonardo was the Director of Strategy and Origination at Plural Energia from May 2019 to August 2020 and served as Superintendent of Energy Commercialization at NC Energia - Grupo Neoenergia from January 2016 to April 2019, where responsibilities included energy trading strategy and marketing planning. Leonardo's tenure at Light spanned from March 2001 to January 2016 as Superintendent of Energy Business, achieving significant revenue outcomes during this period. Early experience includes working as Business Development Manager at CEG from February 1999 to March 2001, focusing on natural gas contracts for thermoelectric generation. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, a Master’s in Business Administration from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, and a Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from UERJ.
