Mark Appels

Mark Appels is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector and product management. Currently serving as Chief Product Officer at Eneve since September 2023, Mark has also been the Owner of De FlexFabriek since January 2018, providing advisory services on energy management and sustainability. Previous roles include Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at Jules, where Mark contributed to the digitization of energy operations with modular cloud-based software solutions. Mark's earlier career includes positions at ENGIE as Product Manager and at Royal IHC with titles including Innovation Officer, Business Development Manager, Tender Manager, Product Developer, and R&D Project Manager. Mark holds a Master’s degree in Biomechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, completed in 2010, after graduating from Stedelijk Gymnasium Arnhem in 2001.
