Ben Smit

Ben Smit is an experienced professional in project and product management, currently serving as Business Product Owner at Enexis Groep since March 2015. In this role, Ben oversees vision development and the implementation of initiatives in Asset Risk Management and Investment Planning while ensuring alignment with organizational needs using Agile/SAFe methodologies. Prior to this position, Ben held roles such as Project Manager in Asset Management and Project Manager at Fudura B.V., where Ben led significant client and internal projects involving multidisciplinary teams. Ben's earlier experience includes Project Leader at Enexis B.V. and Essent, as well as a Technical Trainee at Essent, contributing to various projects in infrastructure and operational processes. Ben holds an engineering degree in General Operational Technology from Hanze University, obtained between 1998 and 2002.
