Ray Lambert

Ray Lambert, P.Eng. has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Ray began their career at Imperial Oil as a Plant Relief Operator, where they gained hands-on experience with process flows and equipment operation. Ray then interned at ConocoPhillips, where they worked on optimization projects and assisted in the installation of a field compressor. After completing their internship, they joined ConocoPhillips as a Rotating Equipment Engineer, focusing on the optimization of natural gas compressors and providing technical support to field and office staff. Ray later served as a Reliability Engineer, performing finite element modeling and root cause failure analysis of rotating equipment. Ray then joined Cenovus Energy as a Sr. Emissions Management Engineer, leading multi-disciplinary teams in developing and deploying projects to reduce emissions. Their responsibilities included providing technical and regulatory leadership and fostering communication with various departments. Currently, Ray is Director - Operations at Enfinite, overseeing the Generation and Storage facilities. Ray leads the Operations Team in achieving operational excellence while prioritizing health, safety, and the environment. Additionally, Ray previously held the role of Manager - Sustainability & Energy Efficiency at Enfinite.

Ray Lambert, P.Eng. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary, where they studied from 2005 to 2012. Additionally, they have a certification in Sustainability in Energy from geoLOGIC systems ltd., obtained in 2023.
