Sam's early career included a role as a Photography Assistant at the Boston Globe and unique positions involving archery instruction and penguin husbandry at Winding Trails and the New England Aquarium, respectively. Sam holds a BA in Journalism from Northeastern University and studied Mandarin at National Taiwan Normal University.
