Ilir Halilaj

Ilir has 15+ years of experience providing managerial expertise across a broad range of sectors including big data, infrastructure development, and economic development.

Prior to his current role at Engage3, Ilir served as the VP of Delivery with Dexi where he oversaw a 70+ team. Prior to Dexi, Ilir led the regional programming initiatives of the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations. As the Deputy Minister of agriculture for the government of Albania, he oversaw the development of new policies and strategic assessments tackling agricultural subsidies, disaster recovery, and preparedness, and climate change mitigation.

As the Director of Finance and Administration for the Albanian American Development Foundation ($250M initiative), Ilir developed and oversaw the implementation of a 5-year strategy in key selectors including entrepreneurship. His experience also includes serving in corporate treasury and internal auditing for various corporations in New York.

Ilir received his B.S. in Accounting and Finance and B.A. in Economics from the State University of New York at New Paltz.
