John Shearer

John Shearer is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in infrastructure engineering and operations. Currently serving as Vice President of Infrastructure Engineering & Ops at Engage3 powered by Dexi since August 2017, John has a proven track record of fostering scalable DevOps processes in startup environments. Previously, John held the role of Director of Infrastructure at Simularity, where skills in big data analytics and cloud computing were demonstrated through the development of innovative solutions. In prior positions at Livescribe Inc. and Monsoon Commerce, John significantly reduced operational costs and improved service reliability by implementing strategic infrastructure changes and leading cross-functional initiatives. Additional experience includes leadership roles at PUREmail and WebReactor Networks, along with foundational positions at AT&T and Apple. John Shearer’s educational background encompasses the University of Rhode Island and Diablo Valley College.
