Gideon Avida has worked in various roles over the past 34 years. Gideon'scareer began in 1986 when they served as a Team Lead for the IDF. Gideon then worked as a Software Engineering Manager for Electronics for Imaging (EFI) from 1995 to 2001. In 2001, they became the Director of Software Engineering for Decru, which was later acquired by NetApp. From 2008 to 2010, Gideon worked as Director of Engineering for Altor Networks Inc., which was also acquired by Juniper Networks. From 2010 to 2014, they were a Software Engineering Sr. Manager for Juniper Networks, responsible for cloud security products development and leading development teams in Sunnyvale, Tel Aviv, Beijing and Bangalore. From 2013 to 2020, Gideon was a Co-Founder of SurfCrew Inc. and Menlo Security Inc. Gideon is currently a Co-Founder of engageli.
Gideon Avida attended Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering.
