Michael Walker

Michael Walker has over two decades of experience in health, safety, and risk management, with a strong background in public health and emergency services. At Capital Region BOCES, Michael served as Program Coordinator I, advising and training school districts on compliance with health and safety regulations from July 2019 to September 2023. Prior to this role, Michael worked as a Home Systems Consultant at House Check, LLC. and held multiple positions, including Probationary Member Coordinator for the Town of Colonie, Sample Preparation Department Supervisor at SCILAB Albany, Inc., and Public Health Technician at Albany County Department of Health, where Michael led the Lead Poisoning Prevention Program. In addition, Michael was involved with the New York State Education Department as a Code Compliance Specialist, overseeing fire safety operations and compliance within school buildings.
