Leon Hendricks has extensive experience in the energy and finance sectors, currently serving as the Regional Business Manager for East Africa at Vivo Energy since April 2025. Previously, Leon held various leadership roles at Engen since November 2012, including Director of Engen Namibia (Pty) Ltd, Chairman of the Board Audit Committee for Engen Namibia (Pty) Ltd, and Director positions at Enpet Africa Insurance Ltd and Citycat Properties (Pty) Ltd. Additionally, Leon is an Independent Committee Member of the Engen Retirement Fund Governance Sub-Committee and has served in multiple managerial roles within Engen, focusing on performance improvement, financial reporting, and accounting. Since September 2021, Leon has also been a Member of the Audit Review Committee at Helderberg College of Higher Education. Prior experience includes roles at EY as an Assistant Manager and Audit Trainee. Leon holds a Master of Commerce in Finance (with distinction), a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accounting, all from the University of Cape Town.
