Katherine Chan, MD, MPH, serves as the Executive Director and Urology Clinical Lead at enGene, focusing on innovative treatments for bladder cancer and currently supporting the execution of the LEGEND trial. With over 11 years of experience as a board-certified urologist, Katherine previously held the position of Vice Chair of Research and Associate Professor of Urology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2021 to 2025. Prior to that, they were an Assistant Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine from 2013 to 2021, where they contributed significantly to clinical trials and research in pediatric urology. Katherine completed a fellowship in pediatric urology at Boston Children's Hospital and holds an MPH from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. They are dedicated to leveraging gene therapy to improve patient outcomes in bladder cancer.
