Chad Austin

Director Of Electromagnetics And RF Systems at EngeniusMicro

Chad Austin has been working in the engineering field since 2016. Chad began their career as a Research Assistant at the Integrated Sensor Lab, Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of South Alabama. Chad also volunteered as a Researcher and Designer for the CubeSat Project at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of South Alabama. In 2017, they served as a Research Consultant for the NASA DEVELOP National Program. Since 2018, they have been working as the Director of Applied Sensors and Electromagnetics and an Electrical Engineer for EngeniusMicro.

Chad Austin has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of South Alabama. Chad also has a Bachelor of Arts in Religion/Religious Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Chad is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, which they are expected to complete in 2022. In 2018, they obtained a FE Exam and NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) - Electrical and Computer certification from NCEES.
