Laura MacLean

Laura MacLean is an experienced Geographic Information Systems Manager and Staff Geophysicist currently employed at ENGEO since September 2019. MacLean has developed innovative tools utilizing Python for data tracking and visualization, enhancing efficiency for field representatives and clients. Prior to ENGEO, MacLean served as a Geoscience Data Analyst at QuakeFinder, where extensive work on algorithms for analyzing large electromagnetic data sets was conducted, along with collaborations on advanced techniques such as machine learning. Academic background includes a Master’s Degree in Geophysics and Seismology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's Degree from UC San Diego, complemented by research roles at esteemed institutions such as UC Berkeley and the Scripps Institution of Oceanography.
