Brian Smith

Brian Smith has extensive experience in finance and risk management, currently serving as VP Controller & Risk at ENGIE Impact since July 2019. Prior to this role, Brian held multiple positions at ENGIE North America Inc. from 2007 to July 2019, including Director of Financial Controller, Director of Technical Accounting & Audit, Project Accounting Manager, and Consolidation and Reporting Senior. Earlier in their career, Brian worked at Reliant Energy from 2003 to 2006 in Finance & Risk, at Sprint as a Pricing Manager from 2000 to 2003, and at Arthur Andersen & Co. from 1997 to 2000 in Audit & Consulting. Brian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from Texas A&M University, earned between 1994 and 1997.
