Gelu Rapotan

Gelu Rapotan is an esteemed professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Managing Director of Flex Generation Italy and CEO of Engie Produzione e Voghera Energia at ENGIE Italia since February 2016. With a wealth of experience spanning several leadership roles, including CEO positions at Voghera Energia SpA and Roselectra SpA, Gelu has demonstrated expertise in commissioning gas turbines, asset management, and operational efficiency. Previous roles include Senior Support Manager for Gas France & South Europe and Head of the Thermal Power Generation Division at GDF Suez Produzione. Gelu holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in thermal machinery from the International University - Institute Politechnic of Galati, Romania.
