James Munro MSc has extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, specializing in wind, solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and hydrogen projects. As Head of Onshore Engineering at Renantis from October 2021 to March 2023, James grew an international engineering team, drafted KPIs aligned with business objectives, and served as a technical lead for M&A due diligence. Previous roles include Head of Early Stage Development at Modern Energy Management and Development Engineer at Globeleq, where James successfully managed renewable projects, negotiated construction contracts, and secured significant funding. James holds an MSc with distinction in Environmental Technology from The University of Hull and a BSc in Biology from the University of York. James is currently the Head of Engineering, Construction, and Grid (Onshore) at ENGIE.
