Mathieu Ablard

Mathieu Ablard is an experienced leader in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Business Development for Low-Carbon H2 and Power in Europe at ENGIE, where significant projects include the 1GW ATR+CCS H2BE project in Belgium. With a strong background in renewable energy, Ablard previously held roles as Managing Director for ENGIE Renewables in Chile and Colombia, driving installed capacity from 150 MW to 800 MW, and as Vice President of Business Development for Latin America, successfully developing solar PV transactions in the Gulf region. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Solaire Direct, Glow Energy PCL, and multiple roles within ENGIE that encompass financial analysis, power trading, and business development across various technologies and international markets. Mathie Ablard holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arts et Métiers - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers and an MSc from Imperial College London.
