Nicolas Malcorps

Nicolas Malcorps possesses extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Origination & Structuring for Global Energy Management in Iberia at ENGIE since March 2011. In this role, Nicolas manages a team focused on power origination and structuring, particularly within renewable energy, while leading business expansion initiatives, including M&A opportunities. Previous positions at ENGIE included Power Commercial Director for the Americas and Head of Optimization & Hedging in Bulk Trading, where Nicolas established a portfolio management team and oversaw risk management strategies. Prior to ENGIE, Nicolas gained valuable experience as a Trading & Portfolio Management Trainee at Electrabel - GDF SUEZ and as a consultant for Lhoist during an academic project. Academic credentials include a Master in Management from Vlerick Business School and an engineering degree in Electromechanics from Université catholique de Louvain, supplemented by a student exchange at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
