Philippe Opdenacker

Philippe Opdenacker currently serves as the Senior Manager of European Affairs at ENGIE, a role they have held since 2010. They previously worked as a Corporate Coordinator for Climate Change at GDF SUEZ and held the position of Senior Advisor for Regulatory Affairs at Electrabel. Philippe began their academic journey at the Université Catholique de Louvain, earning a degree in Electrical Engineering, and later obtained both an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California. They also completed military service with the Belgian Armed Forces in the Light Aviation Meteorological Unit from 1985 to 1986.
