Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at Engine Biosciences

Dmitry Rychkov has worked in a variety of roles since 2001. From 2001 to 2005, they worked as a Research Assistant at Lomonosov Moscow State University. Dmitry then moved to the Steklov Mathematical Institute, where they held positions as a Technical Secretary and Research Assistant from 2005 to 2007. From 2007 to 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Southern California. During this time, they developed a new background independent Moyal star formalism in bosonic open string field theory. In 2015, they became a Data Science Competitor at Kaggle. From 2016 to 2021, they worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Sirota Lab at BCHSI and Sarwal Lab at Dept. of Surgery, where they developed a novel computational diagnostics tool Instability Score in application to kidney transplant state monitoring and identified a set of putative biomarkers in rheumatoid arthritis. Dmitry Rychkov's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), obtained in 2003. Dmitry then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from MSU in 2005. Additionally, Dmitry Rychkov has obtained certifications in Statistical Learning from Stanford University (2015), R Programming from Coursera (2014), and Machine Learning from Coursera (2014).
