EMC founder Edward Forbes has established himself and his company as a leader in the marine manufacturing industry.

Over the past decade, he has worked with companies across the country refining processes, improving methodology and building prototypes.

During that time, he began to develop a vision of how new technologies could impact manufacturing techniques.

Through EM&C, Forbes has been able to watch his vision evolve into reality. In just two years, EM&C has grown from an upstart OEM manufacturer to one of the largest and most respected in the country.

The company has expanded its 40,000 square foot plant in Columbia, SC, to include a separate 15,000 square foot facility, making room for the equipment built especially for EM&C’s high-tech design needs.
