C’est en 2000 qu’a été constituée la société par action Engineering 2k, société exerçant son activité en Italie et en Europe en tant qu'Entreprise Générale pour la construction de bâtiments logistiques.
Elle appartient au groupe FBH, actif sur le marché de la logistique depuis plus de 40 ans, et a pour objectif de se proposer en tant que "fournisseur de services"​ à la recherche continue de solutions innovantes, tout en garantissant au Commettant non seulement une bonne exécution de l’ouvrage mais aussi un degré de qualité élevé, grâce aux professionnels opérant au sein de la société (ingénieurs, architectes, techniciens).
