Chris Durrant, P.E. is an experienced water treatment engineer currently serving as Project Water Treatment Engineer II at Engineering Analytics, Inc. since December 2020. Previously, Chris held the position of Water Resources Advisor and Project Manager at Ovintiv from 2016 to 2020, leading a team of 11 in the Permian Basin and managing over $110M in infrastructure projects, which reduced water supply costs by 40%. Prior to that, Chris was the Water Infrastructure Manager at Encana Corporation from 2007 to 2016, overseeing a team that executed over $135M in infrastructure while managing an annual budget of up to $40M. Additional experience includes roles as Water Systems Engineer and Supervising Engineer, where Chris directed large teams to manage significant budgets and infrastructure projects. Chris began the career as Engineering Manager at Hydron Treatment Technologies LLC, where over 25 industrial water treatment systems were developed. Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Fuels Engineering from the University of Utah.
