Karen Stearns is a seasoned civil and water resources engineer with extensive experience in managing engineering services and projects across the regions of Northeast New Mexico and Southern Colorado. Currently a Senior Civil / Water Resources Engineer at Engineering Analytics, Inc. since September 2014, Karen's key projects include significant improvements for Raton Water Works and multiple infrastructure enhancements for the City of Raton. Prior to this role, Karen served as the Storm Water Quality Program Manager at the Albuquerque Metropolitan Arroyo Flood Control Authority, focusing on compliance with MS4 Permit regulations. Additional experience includes a position as Vice President at URS Corporation, where project management and client satisfaction were primary responsibilities, and previous roles in engineering and safety assessment. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from New Mexico State University.
