Michael Markovsky

Michael Markovsky has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Michael started their career in 1986 as a Research Assistant at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics, where they were responsible for designing and maintaining calibration software/hardware systems. Michael also developed data acquisition software for sub-orbital rocket flights.

In 1989, Michael joined Maxtor Corporation as a Firmware Engineer. Michael played a key role in designing and developing controller firmware for multiple drive systems, several of which went into high-volume production. Michael worked on interface types like Microchannel, SCSI, AT/IDE, and AT/PCMCIA until 1993.

Following their tenure at Maxtor Corporation, Michael founded RealTime, Inc in 1993. At RealTime, they provided engineering services to the embedded products industry and created software for the internet services industry. Michael also developed iOS apps and Linux-based monitoring and information systems.

In 2021, Michael became the Chief Technology Officer at Engineering Design Group, LLC. In this role, they are responsible for managing Firmware and Software technology, design, and implementation. Michael collaborates with customers and company partners to find innovative solutions for the interconnected world, aiming to help customers achieve their goals in a simpler and better way.

Michael Markovsky attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 1985 to 1988. Michael pursued a BSEE degree with a focus on Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Astrophysics, and Solar Physics.
