Chris Spies

Chris Spies, P.E., is a forensic engineering consultant at Engineering Design & Testing Corp., specializing in the origin and cause analysis of mechanical systems. With a robust background in machinery design and manufacturing, they have contributed extensively to damage assessments, including fire damage evaluations and cost estimations for mechanical equipment. Prior roles include engineering positions at KEMAC hotjet spray washers, Shuttlewagon, and Accessible Tech, as well as leadership in engineering at Innovative Standards, Inc. Chris also owns CS Racing & Engineering, where they manufacture supercharger components and engage in technical writing. They are currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
