John Geyser

Aviation Specialist

John Geyser is an experienced aviation specialist currently serving at EIT, Inc. since February 2022, focusing on evaluating and improving the FAA’s Sikorsky S76D Simulator. Previously, Geyser worked as an ATC Systems Engineer at MITRE from August 1983 to March 1987, where responsibilities included software testing of the FAA Host Computer System. From March 1987 to August 1990, Geyser was an Airspace System Inspection Pilot at the FAA, conducting in-flight checks of navigation aids and instrument procedures. A long tenure at the Federal Aviation Administration as a Test Pilot lasted from August 1990 until January 2022. Geyser's military experience includes serving as an Airborne Infantry Officer with the 82nd Airborne Division from May 1975 to September 1979. Geyser holds an MS in Meteorology/Atmospheric Physics from Rutgers University and a BS in Physical Geography and Math from the University of Miami.
