Engineering Automation Project Leader/Solution Architect at Engineering Intent

JQ Chu has worked in a variety of engineering roles since 2014. JQ began as a Robotics Engineering Intern at ABB, where they were involved in technical CAD design and engineering drawings, developed proficiency in solid modeling design and drawing creation, created and analyzed geometric dimensions and tolerances for robotic components, and contributed to R&D projects related to manufacturing of industrial manipulators. In 2016, they took on the role of Mechanical Design Engineering Co-op at Abiomed, where they worked on the Impella Design-RP. From 2015-2018, they were the Engineering Learning Center Supervisor at Northeastern University College of Engineering. Most recently, they have been an Engineering Automation Project Leader/Solution Architect and Engineering Automation Developer/Consultant at Engineering Intent Corporation since 2018.

JQ Chu obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Syracuse University in 2015, after studying there from 2011-2015. JQ then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Mechanics and Design from Northeastern University in 2017. JQ also holds a Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional - Core certification from Dassault Systèmes.
