Michael Jones

Michael Jones has a diverse work experience. Michael is the founder and product designer of Engineering Lab and Otect since 2020 and 2021, respectively. Prior to that, they worked as a senior design engineer at Skytree: Creating CO2 solutions from 2019 to 2021. Before that, they served as a lead product design engineer at EXXFIRE from 2015 to 2019 and as a design engineer at Roquet Hydraulics, S.L. in 2015. Michael also has experience as an inside sales representative at Hewlett-Packard in 2014. Michael began their career as a graduate design engineer at Gardner Denver Pumps from 2013 to 2014 after completing their studies at Manchester Metropolitan University from 2009 to 2013. Michael also worked as a bar supervisor at Manchester United from 2011 to 2012 and as a heavy vehicle technician at IVECO from 2006 to 2009.

Michael Jones obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from The Manchester Metropolitan University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Michael also holds additional certifications including a Six Sigma Yellow Belt from 6sigmastudy and certifications in Solidworks and French B1.1, obtained from Dassault Systèmes and Lingoda GmbH respectively. Michael has also been recognized as the "Best Student" by IMechE.
