Maximiliano Lopez

Maximiliano Lopez is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in aerothermal design and finite element analysis (FEA). Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Nikola Corporation since 2020, Maximiliano has progressed through various roles in aerothermal design, demonstrating leadership and technical expertise. With a long tenure at ESA as a contractor, responsibilities included performing complex structural and thermal FEA and creating CAD components for diverse projects. Previous engineering roles at Honeywell involved supplier performance improvement and product design optimization, while experience at The Cookson Company and PING showcased skills in innovative design solutions and testing methodologies. Maximiliano holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Arizona State University.
