Meichen Niu, P.E., S.E.

Meichen Niu, P.E., S.E. has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at various companies, including Engineering System Solutions (ES2), M.A. Engineering, Inc., Z Y NI Engineering, Inc., and John A. Martin & Associates (Beijing), Inc.

At Engineering System Solutions (ES2), they worked as a Project Engineer from September 2019 to the present. Prior to that, at M.A. Engineering, Inc., they held multiple roles, including Project Manager from February 2019 to September 2019 and Project Engineer from February 2016 to September 2019. Their project experience includes working on the Kipp Promesa Prep school project and the Chapata Elementary school project in Los Angeles, California.

Meichen also gained valuable experience as an intern at Z Y NI Engineering, Inc. from June 2015 to August 2015 and at John A. Martin & Associates (Beijing), Inc. from May 2015 to June 2015.

Meichen Niu, P.E., S.E. obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Structural Engineering from UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering, starting in 2014 and completing in 2015. Prior to that, Meichen Niu earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, where studies began in 2010 and concluded in 2014. In addition, Meichen Niu holds the certification of Professional Engineer (PE), which was obtained in March 2019 from the Nevada State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
