Robert Cooley, PE, currently serves as a Senior Staff Consultant at Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi) since May 2022. Prior to this role, Robert was employed as a Metallurgical Engineer at Element Materials Technology from June 2016 to May 2022. Robert also has experience as a Math Coach at Michigan Tech’s Math Learning Center from September 2012 to April 2015, where coaching techniques involved guiding students through math concepts. Earlier career experience includes a Metallurgist Intern position at Huron Casting during the summer of 2014 and a role as an Intern/Metallurgical Technician at Engel Metallurgical between May 2012 and August 2013. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science & Engineering from Michigan Technological University, completed in 2015, after graduating from Sauk Rapids-Rice High School in 2011.
